On behalf of Mark Sharp and the Board of Directors I would like to extend an invitation to all Team Panorama parents to our Welcome Back event on Saturday, December 10th at Panorama Mountain Village. There are two parts to the day, a morning “Race 101” program and an afternoon social and club update. The activities have been planned to work around the athletes training schedule.

Race 101 will benefit those parents that have had limited exposure to ski racing. It will run from 9:30am to 11:30am in the Conrad Kain Room. Grab yourself a coffee and head to the Conference centre. The Conrad Kain room is upstairs. We will provide basic information on racing and an overview of all the different volunteer positions that make running races possible. You don’t need to be new to the club to attend Race 101; it is meant for anyone that is interested in learning more about alpine ski racing in a fun relaxed environment.

The Nancy Green athletes (U8-U12) will attend the “Sharp Talk” by Mark and Sigrid at 11:30. The coaches will take them to the Copper Crown and return them to the lodge at 12:00. Lunch will be from 12:00-1:00.
The afternoon schedule will kick off at 1:00 pm with an hour Parent Social at the Grey’s Restaurant followed by a presentation from various members of the board and other volunteers to get you up to speed on all the great changes happening within the club. There will be a bar, and the folks at Grey’s have asked that people run tabs. We will not be serving food, so please have lunch in advance….though there may be treats.
We will wrap everything up at 3pm as the kids will be done skiing for the day. If you are still feeling social the Tbar is not too far away. Also…
